Large Language Models (LLMS) such as ChatGPT and Gemini are popular AI tools that have surged in popularity due to their conversational skills and ability to provide targeted responses. While these AI tools are extremely helpful, their accuracy isn’t always guaranteed, as the quality of outputs depends heavily on the prompts users provide.
PrompTessor is an excellent AI prompting improvement tool that helps combat this issue.
How to Improve AI Prompts With PrompTessor
Step 1. Open PrompTessor on your computer or phone and create an account.
Step 2. Click ‘Get Started – It’s Free’ and then enter your personal details. Click ‘Create Account’ when you’re done.

Step 3. A verification email will be sent to your inbox. Open the email and click on the link to verify your email address.

Step 4. You are now able to use the Prompt Analysis and Optimization text box. Type in your prompt and then select ‘Analyze prompt’. To test this tool, we used an example prompt: ‘What is the best dog food?’

Step 5. Scroll slightly down the page to find the platform’s analysis of your prompt, which includes analysis score, strengths, weaknesses, and optimized prompt variations. This section helps you understand if your prompt is clear and effective enough to receive an informative and appropriate answer. It also guides you on how to improve your prompts by highlighting areas for improvement.

Step 6. You may now use the suggested optimized prompt variation within your LLM of choice to receive a more accurate answer.

Additional Features of the AI Prompting Improvement Model
On the left side of your screen, you will find two options: ‘New Prompt’ and ‘Analysis History’. Click on ‘New Prompt’ to start a new chain of analysis with PrompTessor.
Selecting ‘Analysis History’ allows you to revisit previous prompts. You can search through your history by using keywords.

Basic vs. Advanced Prompt Analysis
When using PrompTessor, you can choose between basic and advanced analysis. Basic analysis includes a score between 0-100 ranking your prompt’s effectiveness, some general strengths and weaknesses of your prompt, and finally a more optimized prompt suggestion.
Advanced prompt analysis, however, features a much deeper overview of your prompts. The tool analyzes detailed metrics, such as clarity, specificity, context, goal orientation, and constraints. It also offers a variety of optimization suggestions with their expected impacts, implementation guidance, and testing strategies for continuous improvement.
Pricing

PrompTessor offers users four distinct pricing plans. The most basic plan is the free plan, which allows users five requests per day for basic analysis and one request per day for advanced prompt analysis.
The next tier is the Pro plan, which provides users with unlimited basic requests and 2,000 advanced requests per month. The Pro plan costs $10 per month.
The Pro+ plan offers users an even better version of the platform. For $15 per month, users on the Pro+ pricing plan will have access to unlimited basic and advanced requests. The Pro+ Lifetime plan is the most premium pricing plan that PrompTessor offers, with a one-time payment of $249 providing the user with lifetime access to unlimited basic and advanced prompt analysis.
