How to Undo Your Last Action in Monday on a Desktop
Monday added the Undo button to improve the user experience. They’ve made it possible to reverse actions that you performed accidentally. However, this feature isn’t universal and only applies to specific tasks. You can only use it after you delete, archive, or move an item to another board. The Undo button is available for 60 seconds, so you’ll have to be quick to use it. Just tap it when it appears at the top of the screen to restore your work.
There’s no need to worry if the Undo button times out before you can use it. Your deleted items will be available in the Recycle Bin for 30 days. To access the Recycle Bin, follow the instructions below.
- Tap your profile picture located in the bottom left corner of the screen.
- Click “Recycle Bin” and scroll through the items listed.
- Press the “Restore” button next to the item you want to be restored.
You have now recovered your deleted item in Monday.
If you accidentally archived an item, this is how to retrieve it from the archives.
- Click on your profile picture in the bottom left of the screen.
- Tap “Archive” to enter the Archive window.
- Scroll through to find the board or workdoc you would like to restore.
- Press “Restore” to complete the process.
Your archived board has now been restored.

You can use it after you have deleted, archived, or moved a board. The button will appear at the top of the screen immediately following your action and will be available for only a minute. Pushing it will undo your last activity on Monday.
