Changing Viber Phone Number on Android

Launch Viber and go to your Home screen.

Go to your Viber Home screen using your old device.
Tap on the ellipsis (three horizontal lines) in the top-left corner.
Select “Settings.”
Tap on “Account” to open the account settings menu.
Tap on “Change Phone Number.”
Tap on “Continue” under “New phone number and new device.”
Viber will prompt you to back up your data. To do so, tap on “Back up now.” This can take a few minutes, depending on the amount of data you’ve accumulated in your account.
Tap on “Done.”
Select your country from the dropdown list. Viber will then display your country code.
Type your phone number without any leading zeros.
Tap on “Continue.'” You’ll then receive a six-digit code via SMS.
Enter the code to complete the setup process.
Download and install Viber on your new phone.
Launch Viber and sign in with your new number. Your data will then download automatically.

If your current device runs on iOS, here’s how you can change your phone number and phone:

It’s important to note that as soon as your account is activated on your new phone number and new device, you automatically deactivate your Viber account on your old device. In addition, you can’t transfer your chat history between two different operating systems.
