The Audi R8 is one of the most striking cars on the road right now, but Audi Japan may have just made the most eye-catching one yet. Introducing the Final Fantasy XV Audi R8, a joint project between Audi and Square Enix, the makers of Final Fantasy.
The one-of-a-kind car is called the “Audi R8 Star of Lucis,” and was originally made for the film, Kingsglaive: Final Fantasy XV, and unfortunately, or fortunately – depending on your style preferences – only one version of the special Audi has been made.

As you can probably see from the pictures, the Final Fantasy R8 features the same ornate design and styling you can expect to see in the new RPG, but beyond that everything in the car is the same as the “standard” R8 V10. That means the Final Fantasy R8 uses a 5.2 litre V10 and puts it through an S tronic seven-speed gearbox. The result? 0-100km/h in 3.2 seconds, and a top speed of 330km/h.
However, if you’re looking to buy a Final Fantasy R8 for yourself, you’re probably going to be disappointed. The car is priced at 50,000,015 yen ($472,145.57) and, because there’s only one, Audi Japan will be holding a raffle to find one lucky buyer.
