A Chatbot on Telegram
PowerTelegram is an AI tool you add to your Telegram account. Through natural text prompts, you can do all the things you’ve come to expect from an AI chatbot at this stage. The tool can summarize, answer questions, analyze things, and even tell you a joke or two. In addition to text, you can also upload documents and photos.
One Offering Among Many
Even though this review focuses on PowerTelegram, it’s just one small part of a bigger whole. PromptBoom is the parent site and comes with a range of other tools. These include:
- A writer of content, a rewriter, and a summarizer
- A code explainer
- A text imitator
- A translation tool with just under 20 languages supported
These tools are all made available through PowerTelegram, but can be used individually on PromptBoom’s main website.
Nothing Out of the Ordinary
So, what is there to recommend PowerTelegram? That’s the tricky part. As of writing, it seems the tool and PromptBoom still have a very limited presence online, with under 50 followers on X, and many of those have yet to even post. As for the tool itself, the website boasts it’s been trained on billions of words online, but fails to reveal what LLM is used for, and doesn’t offer anything to set this tool apart.
Even the sales pitch on the website is frustratingly vague on the specifics. There’s not much information about the PromptBoom team, and little by way of testimonials.
The fact that PowerTelegram is on Telegram seems to be the tool’s sole selling point, with everything else easily falling into the standard offering of any chatbot. This isn’t necessarily a bad thing, but it does little to distinguish it in the flood of AI tools and assistants on the market today.
Pricing
Let’s talk price. PromptBoom has two different tiers, the first being free and the second costing $20 per month, with discounts in place ($15 per month at the time of writing), for all tools of PromptBoom, including PowerTelegram. You can learn about the basic operation of the tools on the website, but you need to create an account to use them.
On the plus side, all tools are accessible to the free tier, albeit with the limit of five messages per day, which isn’t much. Additionally, the pricing page also announces that the advanced AI models (whatever they are) aren’t available. To get the full experience, which is a must for Telegram, you need to sign on for the Pro tier.
